Founder, The Code Collective

I have lived this work from every angle. I started in the classroom as a Pre-K and first grade teacher, learning how children crack the code of reading one student at a time. I grew into coaching teachers, then into school and network leadership, building systems across the full K–12 arc.

Each seat taught me something the next one required. Together they gave me a rare, full-spectrum view of what it takes to build literacy systems that actually hold, from the individual child sounding out their first word to the network-wide strategy that makes that moment possible for every child.

The Code Collective was born from that journey and one unshakeable belief: every child deserves access to a literacy education that is both rigorous and rooted in who they are.
